Hello gamers! Welcome to my Hearts of Iron IV – Death or Dishonor Review!
As some of you know I like history and I like to read about World War 2. I think it’s an important piece of history that didn’t happen “that long ago”. What I like about HoI4 is the fact that I can try to “change history”. Try something else and see what happens. In this particular game I think knowing about World War 2 is pretty important. Much more important than knowing history if you want to play the other Paradox games like Crusader Kings 2 & Europa Universalis 4. In those games you just… “go” and whatever. Here… you can go but you do need to know what happen in real life … at least a bit so you know what to expect and what you can alter. That’s why I made this video where I talk about some WW2 books & documentaries I recommend you to check out.
The first DLC game out in December 2016 and… while I always like DLC that expand the gameplay, that DLC called Together for Victory focused on some countries that were not really “in the middle of the action”. The countries that got a new national focus tree were Canada, Australia, New Zealand, The Raj (India) and South Africa. Ok… great… but as I have said… they are pretty far away from the action, so for me that DLC wasn’t really that interesting.
